Privacy Policy

When you shop or create an account, we collect:

• Account details — your name and email address, and a password you choose (or your Google sign-in, if you use it).
• Order details — the items you buy, your shipping address, and your order history.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers are sent directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. If you save a card, Stripe stores it and we keep only a reference plus the brand and last four digits so you can recognise it.
• Messages you send us — anything you submit through the contact form, and product reviews you write.
• Basic usage data — standard web-server information such as pages requested and approximate location, used to keep the site running and secure.
• Aggregate visit statistics — counts of page views, referring sites, and device types, via Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you across other sites.

• To process and ship your orders, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To send transactional email — order confirmations, shipping updates, return updates, and account notices. These are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while you have an active order.
• To send newsletters, only if you opted in. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the store working.

We share information only with the services that make the store work:

• Stripe — payment processing, refunds, and saved cards.
• Google Firebase — hosting, our database, sign-in, and file storage.
• Google Workspace (Gmail) — sending the emails described above.
• Google Maps — address autocomplete when you add a shipping address.
• Plausible Analytics — anonymous, cookie-free visit counts on a self-hosted instance.
• Shipping carriers — the address needed to deliver your order.

We may also disclose information if legally required. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cart between visits. Your cart is stored in your own browser until you check out. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• See or correct your information — sign in and visit your profile to update your name, phone, and addresses, and your orders to review past purchases.
• Remove a saved card — from payment methods at any time.
• Stop newsletters — use the unsubscribe link, or turn the newsletter setting off in your profile.
• Delete your account — email us and we will remove your account and personal details. We keep order records where we are legally required to.

Account information is kept while your account is open. Order records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law, even after an account is closed. Contact-form messages are kept while we need them to help you.

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Access to customer data is restricted to store administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

The store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date above.
